Having developed a reputation as a sash window restoration specialist, Paxton's activities are divided between Residential and Heritage Sectors.

On the residential side, Paxton has successfully completed hundreds of projects on Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian homes in London and the South East.

We have extensive experience with Grade 1, Grade 2*, Grade 2 and Conservation area buildings, working closely with owners, architects, surveyors, English Heritage, conservation and planning officers, and in tandem with other specialist trades. On occasion, we have acted as an expert witness and will help collaborate with interested parties to clarify what is allowable and acceptable with regard to conservation guidlines and legislation.

Our core services are repairing and overhauling sash windows, draught proofing and installing narrow profile double glazing to existing sash windows.  We also offer painting and decorating to a high finished standard.

With our approach, two elements are key. Firstly, we like to do as we would be done by, and endeavour to treat all our customers as we would wish to be treated. Secondly, we will go further than most other sash window companies to deal with bespoke and unusual requests in order to solve problems; this could be solving problems on unique windows or finding specialists to deal with a specific issue.
