Our Approach

We will either ease and release your existing sash windows or replace weatherbeaten and damaged sash windows and box frames, based on their condition. We always use traditional joinery methods, even when replacing cills and pulley stiles. All finished woodwork will be primed and corked ready for the final paint finish. Paxton can also decorate to final finish, as required.

New Parts as Standard - We will provide

• all new window furniture, such as catches, handles and sash lifts (as required)
• all new waxed sash cords
• new parting and staff beads (primed for finish)
  

Draughtproofing - On request, we will fit unobtrusive draught seal to the existing frames to eliminate draught, dust and noise.
