Painter and Decorator

 

Job description

We are interested to hear from Painters and decorators with experience, specifically painting sash and timber windows, Interiors and Exteriors in private houses/commercial buildings.

You will be the kind of tradesman that likes to solve problems and deal with bespoke situations. You will need good Painting and Decorating experience to the highest standards. The finish is always high quality and good attention to detail is very important.

You will need to talk directly to clients and therefore a good command of English is essential as well as a smart appearance.

You will be self-starting, able to solve problems using common sense and methodical. You also need to collaborate with other colleagues and be able to take instruction to work towards our proven best-practice working methods.

You will be positive minded, co-operative and professional and want to work with a like-minded team.

NVQ2 minimum in Painting and Decorating, or a relevant City and Guilds qualification is a must. Please let us know of all Qualifications, and whether you have been DBS checked.

You must have own 110 volt power tools, range of hand tools, CSCS card and a valid driving licence. You will have your own transportation.

You must be willing to travel around the Greater London area, and occasionally the Home Counties.  You will be working mostly in private homes, but also offices and schools so you must know how to work in a clean and tidy manner and take care of your working environment.

Pay is negotiable, based on experience and performance on a trial basis.

Sash Window Restoration Joiner

 

Job description

We are interested to hear from conservation-minded joiners and carpenters with experience, specifically refurbishing sash windows in private houses/commercial buildings, or good general carpentry skills, such as making up a sash window.

You will be the kind of tradesman that likes to solve problems and deal with bespoke situations. You will need good carpentry experience and be comfortable with some associated skills such as glazing, painting and occasionally plastering. The finish is high quality and good attention to detail is very important.

You will need to talk directly to clients and therefore a good command of English is essential as well as a smart appearance.

You will be self-starting, able to solve problems using common sense and methodical. You also need to collaborate with other colleagues and be able to take instruction to work towards our proven best-practice working methods.
